Text Message Terms

Program: North Point Computers text updates, sent from our business number (361) 309-4599. North Point Computers is a locally owned IT and repair business at 62 S. King St., Alice, TX 78332. Our walk-in phone and computer repair counter does business as NPC Sales (1003 E. Main St., Alice; website lowbies.com). Texts about counter repairs come from the same program.
What we send
Updates about work you asked us to do: appointment confirmations and reminders, repair and service ticket status, parts-arrival and ready-for-pickup notices, invoices and payment links, and replies to your questions. We do not send marketing texts unless you separately opt in to them.
How you opt in
- Online booking: on lowbies.com/booking (our repair counter's site) or tickets.remotenpc.com/companion/booking you tick the text-updates box, which is unchecked until you tick it, and give the mobile number the texts go to. A second, separate unchecked box covers deals and new arrivals.
- At the counter: on the check-in kiosk you enter your mobile number and tick the same boxes on the "How can we reach you?" screen.
- By phone: if you ask us for a follow-up by text, our staff read you the texting terms and record your yes.
After you opt in you get one confirmation text with the program name, how often we text, "Msg & data rates may apply," and the HELP and STOP instructions. Giving us your number is optional and is never required to get service.
How often
Message frequency varies. Most repairs, service visits or appointments produce between one and six texts, spread over the life of the job.
Cost
Message and data rates may apply. Your carrier's standard messaging charges apply to every text you send or receive.
How to stop, and how to get help
To cancel, reply STOP to any message. You will get one final text confirming you are unsubscribed, and no more will be sent.

Carriers
Carriers are not liable for any delayed or undelivered messages.
Privacy
How we handle your number and your consent is in our Privacy Policy. We do not sell or share your SMS opt-in data or personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
