The question before the build
Does selling online actually fit what you sell. For a shop with packable products and repeat buyers, usually yes. For a service business, a store is often the wrong tool and a booking flow or a quote form does the job better.
We would rather have that conversation first than build you a store that takes two orders a month and a lot of your attention.
What we set up and hand over
Platform, products, payment processing with sales tax configured correctly for Texas, shipping or local pickup, and the notifications that tell you an order came in.
Then we train whoever is actually going to run it, because a store nobody in the building knows how to operate becomes a liability the first time something goes wrong.
What we actually do
Platform picked to fit
Sized to your catalog and budget rather than the one with the biggest name.
Products set up
Variants, stock, images and descriptions that answer what a buyer actually wants to know.
Payments and tax
Real card processing in your own account, with Texas sales tax configured correctly from day one.
Shipping and pickup
Rates that do not lose you money, and local pickup for the customers who are ten minutes away.
Order notifications
You find out immediately, in a way you will actually notice on a work day.
Training
Whoever runs it gets shown how, with notes, so it does not depend on one person or on us.
Frequently asked
Should I sell on my own site or a marketplace?
Depends what you sell. Marketplaces bring buyers and take a cut and the customer relationship. Your own store keeps both and you have to bring the traffic. For a lot of local businesses the honest answer is both, starting with whichever fits your product.
Who owns the payment account?
You do. It is opened in your business name with money going to your bank. We configure it; we never sit between you and your money.
How much work is it to run?
More than people expect. Packing, shipping, questions, and the occasional return or dispute. We give you a realistic weekly estimate before you commit, because that is the number that decides whether this is worth it.
Can you do local pickup or delivery instead of shipping?
Yes, and for a lot of Coastal Bend businesses that is the better setup. Order and pay online, collect at the counter, no shipping cost or damage risk.
What if it does not work out?
You keep the platform account, the payment account, the product data and the customer list. Nothing about the setup traps you.
